At VELUX, we believe that “one experiment is better than a thousand expert opinions.” — Villum Kann Rasmussen
That’s why we are committed to full-scale, real-life building experiments, to test ideas, prove impact and turn insights into solutions. We do this together with pioneering partners across the building industry.
With Living Places Copenhagen, we demonstrated that it is already possible today, creating homes with 3x lower CO₂ emissions and 3x better indoor climate using existing technology.
At the LKR Innovation House, our own innovation centre, we explore how renovation can transform existing buildings into healthy, high-performing spaces, challenging conventional approaches in real-life conditions.
And this is just the beginning. New experiments are already underway, continuing our journey to explore, test and scale better solutions for the built environment.
